Meet Elizabeth
Miss Elizabeth Ameru · BSc (Hons), MCPod · HCPC-registered podiatrist
I’m an HCPC-registered podiatrist with over a decade of experience caring for people’s feet in both the NHS and private practice.
I spent a significant part of my NHS career working within a specialist diabetic foot team, supporting patients with complex foot problems related to diabetes. Much of my work focused not only on helping wounds to heal and preventing serious complications, but also on reducing the risk of problems returning.

That experience shaped the way I practise today.
I believe some of the best podiatric care happens before a problem becomes a bigger one. Looking after our feet can have an enormous impact on our comfort, mobility, confidence and independence — yet they’re often something we don’t think about until they start causing us trouble.
Moving into private practice gave me the opportunity to take a more proactive approach to foot health and to offer a broader range of treatments. Alongside routine and preventative foot care, I provide biomechanical assessments, verruca and fungal nail treatments.

For me, podiatry isn’t simply about treating what’s happening today. It’s about understanding why a problem has developed, helping to prevent it from returning and supporting you to stay comfortable, active and independent for as long as possible.
Whether you’re dealing with an ongoing problem, something that’s recently started bothering you, or you simply want to look after your feet properly, you’ll receive thoughtful, individual care that’s centred around you.
